• End Hunger Connecticut launched "Operation Participation."

July 2005

• The Connecticut School Nutrition Bill passed in both the House and Senate, but was vetoed by Governor Jodi Rell. The bill included language on mandated 20 minutes of recess, healthy vending machines a la cart, wellness councils and well as school breakfast.
